Barry Paquet, Founder
Barry has over 12 years experience managing and directing small software companies. Prior to founding Quantum Whisper, Barry was Director of Product Management at ImageTag Inc., a Microsoft ISV focused on document management and imaging solutions. Notable industry acknowledgments during his tenure include recognition from Microsoft as award finalist for Microsoft ISV Partner of the Year - Innovation (2008) and Microsoft Dynamics ISV Solution of the Year (2006).
In 2003, he co-founded eFinitive Systems (Montreal, Quebec), a software and professional service firm focused on document imaging for Microsoft Dynamics. eFinitive was acquired by ImageTag (Chandler, Arizona) in 2006.
Barry has a BA from Colgate University, a graduate diploma from McGill University, an Executive MBA from University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
To unwind, Barry likes to coach football, exercise, and go fishing (or anything else outdoors). But those are all second to spending time with his family --- wife Kathryn, daughter Brielle, son Preston and Bernese Mountain dogs, Bandit & Nelly (can't forget the pups).
Neil Moffatt, Chief Technologist
Neil is an accomplished software architect and manager with over 14 years of experience in a variety of business domains (Public safety, Manufacturing, Social Services).
As an architect, he's implemented software platforms using several technologies (way too many acronyms to list). In addition, Neil is an experienced mentor and implementer of both agile (SCRUM) and iterative (RUP) development methodologies in both large and small companies.
When Neil isn't busy at work, his his wife Sharen, 3 little boys: Erik, Matthew and Brendan along with two cats and an energetic Airedale terrier are his pride and joy.
